The left-side gentleman with a red baseball cap turned out to be a Canadian, for some reason, traveling alone.
This gentleman, my brother and I were taking this sightseeing route to the same direction. As a result. we came across one another at several view points. ......As you see in the second photo.
Well, he was initially not so friendly to us. But at some point, by chance, we all stood very closely, only a few steps apart, so that we had to exchange some pleasantries to avoid mutual awkwardness. So I asked him, "We are Japanese, where are you from?" He still didn`t look very comfortable talking with other sightseers. Nonetheless, after some hesitation, he replied, "I`m from Montreal, Canada."
Immediately, I responded to him, "Oh, from Montreal!" using French accent on the word Montreal, which I had leaned from Mr. Vin Scally (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Vin-Scully/105620219471288?nr), baseball Los Angels Dodgers legendary announcer, when he had broadcasted Dodger games versus Montreal Expos (now Washington Nationals) held in the Canadian city. ... All of a sudden, this gentleman showed us a very amicable, broad smile.
No doubt, he liked that I guessed correctly he was one of French-Canadians who wanted their Canadian state Quebec to be independent from the central English-speaking Canadian government.
Yes, that`s a man from Montreal, Quebec, Canada!

By the way, Mr. Vin Scully is too old now to announce Dodger games being played far away from Los Angels, but still now, when Dodgers are at home, we can enjoy his legendary opening words, "It`s time for Dodger baseball!"
